By Air: Direct flights operate from Athens International Airport (ATH) to Kefalonia Airport (EFL), with a flight time of about one hour. For travelers coming from the U.S., common connections are through major European hubs such as London Heathrow (LHR) or Gatwick (LGW), which at times offer direct flights to Kefalonia. During the summer season, additional direct flights are available from several European cities, including Amsterdam, Milan, and Munich.​

 

By Ferry: Kefalonia is also connected by sea, with regular ferry service from the mainland ports of Kyllini and Patras.

From the Airport or Ferry Ports to Skala
Skala is about an hour’s drive from Kefalonia Airport (EFL). The closest ferry port is Poros.  Taxis are readily available at both the airport and ferry terminals
