Terms and Conditions: Kefalonia Retreat

By registering for the destination retreat in Kefalonia, Greece, from September 13–19, 2026, you agree to these Terms and Conditions with the hosts: Lisa Miliaresis, Extreme Communication LLC, and Fiori Petratou (collectively referred to as "the Hosts").

Voluntary Participation and Acknowledgment

Your participation in this retreat is entirely voluntary. You acknowledge that the experience may involve emotional exploration and could lead to emotional distress. You understand that the Hosts are not licensed medical, psychological, or professional advisors.

Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

You acknowledge that participating in a group retreat involves inherent risks, including emotional challenges, physical activities, and travel-related issues. By attending, you voluntarily assume all these risks. You agree to release the Hosts from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) that may arise from or relate to your participation in this retreat. This includes, but is not limited to, claims for:

  • Personal injury, emotional distress, illness, or death.

  • Damage to or loss of your property.

  • Any other loss or expense, even if caused by the negligence of the Hosts.

Personal Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your own well-being and actions. You agree to disclose any pre-existing medical or emotional conditions to the Hosts that may affect your participation. You understand that the Hosts are not obligated to provide medical or psychological services and will seek professional help independently if needed.

Consent to Use Likeness

You grant the Hosts permission to use any photos or videos taken during the retreat for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation. If you do not want your likeness used, you must inform the Hosts in writing before the retreat begins.​

​Roommate Registration & Occupancy​

Shared Room Requirements: If you are booking a shared room (Double Use, Superior Sea View, or Suite), you must provide your roommate's name and email address at the time of deposit.

48-Hour Deposit Window: Both roommates must submit their individual deposits within 48 hours of each other to hold the room at the shared rate.

Single Use Reversion: If a roommate's deposit is not received within this 48-hour window, the registration will automatically revert to a Single Use booking at the rate of $3,995, and a manual invoice will be issued for the balance.

Invoicing: Once both deposits for a shared room are received, the Hosts will email a manual invoice for the remaining balance. This invoice will reflect any applicable discounts and credit the $1,000 total deposit ($500 per person) toward the total room cost.

Cancellation Policy

Payments: You may choose to pay in full at the time of registration. If not paying in full, a $500 non-refundable deposit may be used to hold your spot. This $500 amount remains non-refundable under all circumstances, whether paid as a deposit or as part of a full payment.
All payments are non-refundable after June 15, 2026.
•    Cancellations before March 31, 2026: Refund of 100% of retreat price, less a $500 fee.
•    Cancellations from April 1 to June14, 2026: Refund of 50% of the retreat price.
•    Cancellations on or after June 15, 2026: No refunds will be issued.
•    No-shows or early departures: No refunds will be issued.
Travel costs (flights, accommodations outside the retreat package, etc.) remain your responsibility and are non-refundable.

Events Beyond Our Control (Force Majeure)

The Hosts are not liable for any losses you may incur due to circumstances beyond our control. These "Force Majeure Events" include, but are not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (e.g., floods, earthquakes, fires).

  • Public health emergencies (e.g., pandemics, epidemics).

  • Government actions (e.g., travel bans, lockdowns).

  • Major disruptions (e.g., war, terrorism, widespread strikes).

In the event of a Force Majeure Event, the Hosts reserve the right to:

  • Reschedule the retreat to a new date.

  • Modify the retreat format.

  • Issue a credit for a future retreat or a similar arrangement in lieu of a refund.
