Kefalonia Press did an article on the 2026 retreat because it was a unique type of tourism to combine with the intuition awareness.
If you open the link in google chrome it will translate it into English. For your connivence it is copied below:
A small group of Americans arrived in Kefalonia in September, with a goal that goes beyond classic tourism.
Invited by the American author of books specializing in self-knowledge, Lisa Miliaresis , who spends her summers on our island, the Americans came to seek the old Delphic value of "Know thyself", which is perhaps one of the most timeless exhortations left to us by ancient Greece.
To get to know ourselves, our spiritual potential and to read our thoughts, our feelings, our desires, our fears.
Lisa Miliaresis examines something that people have intuitively known for centuries: that the brain and body are in constant communication. This is called interoception, our ability to perceive our body's internal signals, even our instincts.
This doesn't mean we should trust it blindly. It means, perhaps, that it's worth learning to listen to it, but also knowing its limits.
And somewhere here the ancient "Know thyself" acquires a modern dimension.
So imagine starting every morning with a few lessons in self-awareness and strengthening your spiritual abilities, by the sea, amidst the landscapes of Kefalonia.
This balance of spirit and material pleasures was also sought by Americans, through a series of courses with Lisa, on a continuous journey of self-knowledge.
"My goal is to empower people, reconnecting them with their natural instincts and intuition. By freeing body and mind from stress, we allow our inner knowing to emerge. With simple tools in everyday life, we rediscover balance within ourselves and with those around us ," emphasizes Lisa Miliaresis.
And of course, the group's journey was not limited to spirituality lessons.
Accompanied by Fiori Petratou , the Americans toured the beautiful places of Kefalonia, got to know Greek culture and tried Kefalonian cuisine.
Listen to the testimony of a team member:
“Lisa’s workshops really opened up a new world for me. They helped me connect with my intuition, with the manifestation practice, and with nature. And I think all of this, combined with Fiori’s love for the island and the way she guided us around Kefalonia, was a unique experience. Living both together, every day, really opened up new horizons for me. It was truly a journey of a lifetime, an experience that is difficult to repeat and one that I highly recommend.”
Because spirituality doesn't have to be the opposite of pleasure.
It can coexist with a good meal, company, a dip in the sea, a walk in a village, a sunset.
Self-awareness and enjoyment.
Inner search and vacation.
Spirituality and nature.
This combination can constitute a different type of tourism that could be developed in Kefalonia.
A tourism of people who are not only looking for a beautiful destination, but also an experience that will leave them with something more when they return to their homeland.
